Camille Addison

I am passionate about nurturing and supporting mothers - I have two young kids so I know all about this crazy and beautiful journey. My passion is in mental birth preparation, clearing birth fear, birth trauma/grief, postnatal depression and anxiety.

I have been where you are. Using my personal experiences combined with Kinesiology, I create a safe space for you to be honest with yourself, to release your stress, and most importantly, to reclaim YOU.

I have been a Kinesiologist for over ten years, working one on one in clinic, teaching Kinesiology courses, goal setting workshops and vision board workshops.

I currently offer sessions at my home in Kahibah. Contact me to book a session!

Kinesiology

What is it?

Kinesiology is gentle, nurturing, and empowering. It works with your body’s innate healing power to restore balance and health to your body and mind.

Kinesiology uses “muscle testing” to look at what may be causing imbalances in your body. It’s a tool that helps skip your conscious brain to allow us to delve into the subconscious and uncover the underlying reasons behind what may be causing you to repeat patterns of behaviour, be fearful, or not believe in yourself (to name a few!).

How does it work?

Our nervous system is designed to self-regulate and adapt to change. When we can’t adapt efficiently, our muscles reflect the stress in the central nervous system. This stress creates specific muscle patterns that we can assess by testing different muscles in your body.

Think of the signals between your brain and your body as feedback loops. As the brain adapts to the changes in the muscle systems, the muscles send signals to alert the brain that the changes have taken place.

So, muscle testing can indicate possible causes for imbalances in your overall wellbeing. Once we have discovered what these are we also can determine what technique is best suited for your individual healing.

How it Works

Who Can I Help

I am passionate about working with women in two ways:

1. Support during pregnancy and beyond, providing:

  • Emotional support surrounding falling pregnant

  • Mental preparation and clearing fear for birth

  • Process and release emotions from a traumatic birth

  • Birth story telling and processing the birth

  • De-stress post natal depression

  • Clarity around your new role as a mum and your purpose going forward

2. Help you to identify and smash limiting beliefs and thought patterns, then create positive new ones.

Of course, I’d love to work with you if you’re needing support with something other than the above. Contact me to book your session.

What will happen in a session?

To start, we’ll sit down and have a chat about what’s going on for you, how you want to feel and what you want to get out of the session. After this, you’ll lie on a massage table, with clothes on (shoes off). Through muscle monitoring we’ll gather feedback from your body on an emotional level to get a picture of what’s going on.

I use a combination of gentle techniques that include acupressure, counselling, visualisation and intuitive guidance.

After the session you may be given some affirmations, acupressure points or lifestyle changes to put in place in order to bring about continuing and lasting change.
